Steve Smirnis is an expert in business start-up and marketing. His entrepreneurial career includes a background in food / hospitality, real estate and mortgage financing, sales, management and new title development for the publishing industry. His active participation in the homebuilding industry has lead him to be elected for more than 10 consecutive years on the Board of Directors for the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association, where he is noted as one of its top membership recruiters. Steve has also orchestrated SAVVY Magazines’ participation in partnering to build SAVVY idea Homes. These homes serve as a working laboratory to experiment with new building technology and promote new products and construction techniques to Building SAVVY’s loyal readership of builders and remodelers.
Steve is also a licensed real estate agent. His primary goal in real estate is to assist buyers looking to build or purchase a new home, and to work with builder clients to market their properties while educating buyers about the benefits of owning a new home. Steve also has an extensive list of suppliers and remodeling industry contacts ready to serve the needs of buyers wishing to purchase and update existing homes or sellers wishing to get their home ready to list.
